  • General notesTissue: Stomach Location: Lesser curvature Diagnosis: Adenocarcinoma well differentiated Stage: II T2N0M0 Grade: n/a Sex: Female Age: 41 years Gross findings: Ulcerative vegetated lesion. Tumor measures 3cm x 3cm in diameter. Gray in color, wall 2cm thick, firm, dirty hemorrhagic. Microscopic findings: Biopsy shows malignant columnar cells arranged in glands. The malignant cells have clear cytoplasm with vacuoles. Nuclei have irregular nuclear membranes, cytoplasm is granular or vacuolated with large nucleoli. Many monstrous nuclei. The malignant cells have invaded the gastric wall and there are many lymphocytes. There is evidence of mucinous secretion in cells. Insoluble protein fraction

    This product belongs to a range of individual sets of lysates that were extracted from very specific tissues and are gender-, cancer subtype-, tumor grade- and cellular morphology- specific.   • Purification notesTissue specimens are homogenized in modified RIPA buffer to obtain the soluble proteins, and centrifuged to clarify. The pellet was further extracted with a second buffer to obtain the less soluble protein fraction. The lysate solution may appear turbid at cold temperatures due to insolubility of buffer components. The solution should clear upon warming to room temperature.
