Target

  • Relevance
Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide which is an integral part of the gel-like substance of animal connective tissue that serves as a lubricanting and protective agent.

Images

  • ab53842 staining Hyaluronic acid in chicken cockscomb tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (formaldehyde fixed sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and an enzymatic antigen retrieval step was performed using Pronase. Samples were then blocked with 3% H2O2 for 5 minutes at 20°C followed by incubation with the primary antibody at a 1/300 dilution for 1 hour at 20°C. ab6747 Rabbit polyclonal to Sheep IgG - H&L (HRP) was used as secondary antibody, undiluted.

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of acetone-fixed 10 µm cryostat cut human eplileptic substantia alba tissue, labelling hyaluronic acid with ab53842, incubated at a dilution of 1/250 for 1 hour at 37°C in TNB diluent. Blocking was using a TNB blocking buffer for 30 minutes at 25°C. The secondary used was a polyclonal Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugate used at 1/250.
