Tissue specificityExpressed in oocytes, granulosa cells of small and growing follicles, Leydig cells, spermatogonia and semen (at protein level). Expressed in testicular cancer (at protein level). Expressed weakly in heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, bone marrow, colon, kidney, salivary glands, testis and pancreas. Detected in fetal liver, fetal ovary, gonocytes and interstitial cells of the testis.

Detection of Human IGF2BP2 by Immunoprecipitation in 293T whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) using ab117827 at 6 µg/mg of lysate. For subsequent WB detection, another anti Human IGF2BP2 antibody was used. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure time of 30 seconds.
