In addition to the many regional events and exhibitions Abcam organizes and attends each year, we are also very proud to host our program of World Meetings. The coverage of research areas is expanding year on year and 2007 saw events in the fields of Chromatin, Neuroscience and Stem Cells.
The unique appeal of these meetings is the combination of leading scientists presenting their work in relaxing and appealing locations across the Caribbean. All our meetings incorporate the best of scientific debate, provide important networking opportunities and have dedicated poster sessions to promote the work of younger scientists. The size of the meetings promotes an intimate feel whilst their resort location offers delegates free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We also organize a number of optional social events including dance lessons, beach bonfires and fire eaters!
Our World Meetings Program is highly regarded within the scientific community and each year their following grows. We will shortly be announcing the dates of our 2008/09 portfolio so if you’re interested in a world class international meeting with the added attraction of a Caribbean location, make sure you visit the conference calendar.
