    Abcam and Steve Jackson are proud to present the first Genome Stability World Meeting. It aims to bring together researchers from across the world to focus on promoting research in Genome Stability, while networking with others to create an interactive, successful seminar.

    Those looking to learn, present, and improve their research ideas within the scientific community of nuclear signaling. Networking and attending conference sessions throughout the four day conference allow you to meet and collaborate with senior people in the field of genome stability.

    Gustavo Diaz Ordaz is the nearest international airport to the resort.  Transfer time is approximately 15 minutes and $5-10 in a taxi. Please note- delegates are responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotel and airport.

    Visas

    Before booking flights, delegates are strongly advised to confirm whether they require a visa to travel to Mexico as proof of citizenship is necessary upon entry.  A current passport is required for US citizens.

    Cancellation Terms and Conditions

    Delegates are advised to ensure they have adequate travel insurance to cover their attendance at the conference in case of incident, or cancellation due to circumstances beyond Abcam’s control.

    • Reservations for accommodation, meals or social events cannot be guaranteed if payment in whole is not received prior to the start of the event. 
    • All fees paid to Abcam, including registration and additional night accommodations are non-refundable.
    • Substitute delegates can be made at any time by contacting events@abcam.com.
    • Please note these charges apply to both delegate fees and any optional extras such as additional accommodation or the attendance of partners/children.
    • A $50 fee will be applied to any requested accommodation changes

    Frequently asked questions

    Posters

    Those delegates presenting a poster will be provided with a poster board and be informed of its dimensions in due course; adhesive will be supplied. Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference, including outdoors, so delegates are advised to laminate posters to enhance their durability.

    Internet Access

    An internet café organised by Abcam will be available for the duration of the conference for delegate use.  At the time of writing, internet access is not available in guest bedrooms but should this become available delegates will be required to cover any additional costs associated with this.

    Extras

    The resort is fully inclusive and the conference fee includes all meals, beverages and social events.  Telephone charges and other extras must be covered by delegates and you will be asked to provide credit card details upon check-in at the hotel to cover any such costs.

    Money and Local Information

    The local currency is the Mexican Peso although U.S. dollars are widely accepted in most businesses throughout Puerto Vallarta.  Major credit cards are also accepted in most establishments. Universal ATM's are widely available for cash withdrawals at the current exchange rate. Visitors can access ATM’s in several systems such as VISA, MC, Cirrus and PLUS.

    Health and Insurance

    As before any travel, delegates are strongly advised to ensure they have adequate medical insurance and research any necessary vaccinations they may require; taking advice from relevant health care professionals.  Bringing sufficient sun cream protection and mosquito repellent is a must.  Delegates will be provided with emergency contact numbers upon registration at the conference.
