Using a conjugate Indole 3 Acetic acid-protein carrier, antibody specificity was performed with an ELISA test by competition experiments with the following compounds:
Indole 3 Acetic Acid-BSA: 1
Indole 3 Pyruvic Acid-BSA: 1/>50,000
Phenyl Acetic Acid-BSA: 1/>50,000
(a): Indole 3 Acetic Acid-BSA concentration/conjugated close structure concentrationat half displacement.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/5000 - 1/10000.
Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), is a member of the group of phytohormones called auxins and is generally considered to be the most important native auxin. It is synthesized by plants from the amino acid tryptophan.
IAA also promotes growth of vascular tissue, increases the plant cell wall plasticity and prevents premature falling of fruit and flower leaves.
