Target

  • RelevanceIntegrin alpha 4 beta 7, also known as, the lymphocyte Peyer's patch adhesion molecule (LPAM1) is a member of the integrin family of cell surface receptors. It is expressed primarily on mucosal lymphocytes, but is also present on NK cells and eosinophils. The alpha 4 beta 7 heterodimer mediates the binding of lymphocytes to its ligand, mucosal vascular addressin (MAdCAM1) on the high endothelial venules, thereby directing the homing of lymphocytes into Peyer's patches and intestinal lamina propria.
  • Cellular localizationMembrane; Single pass type I membrane protein.

  • Flow Cytometry analysis of BALB/c mouse splenocytes labeling Integrin alpha 4+beta 7 with ab25329 at 1 μg/106 cells (purple). A Mouse Anti-Rat IgG2a-CY5 was used as the secondary antibody. Grey - Isotype Control, Rat IgG2a-UNLB, followed by Mouse Anti-Rat IgG2a-CY5.

  • Ab25329 at 1µg pre 106 cells positively staining LPAM1 in the TK1 cell line. The control or negative cells are from the 8-81 MuLV transformed preB cell line. After labelling with Ab25329, the cells were stained with goat anti rat IgG FITC.
