  • Application notes
Dot: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
    ELISA: 1/4000 - 1/20000.
This product has been assayed against 1.0µg of Invertase in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic-acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.
IM: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Predicted molecular weight: 52 kDa.
Suitable for other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • Relevance
Invertase hydrolyses the terminal non reducing beta D fructofuranoside residues in beta D fructofuranosides. It is the enzyme that bees use to convert nectar into honey. Industrial and confectionary applications use yeast invertase to split sucrose into fructose and glucose and also to improve the shelf life of food products.
    • Alternative names
      • Beta fructofuranosidase 2 antibody
      • Inv1 antibody
      • Saccharase antibody
      • Sucrase antibody
