    This product is a mixture of two clones: Kappa = Clone:L1C1, Isotype:IgG1, Label:FITC CD19 = Clone:CB19, Isotype:IgG1, Label:PE

    The Kappa antigen is present in serum on all immunoglobulins bearing kappa light chains. It is also present on approximately 50% of normal human B lymphocytes. CD19: This antigen (MW = 95kDa) is present on 10-15% of human peripheral blood lymphocytes and approximately 60% of splenic lymphocytes. It is not expressed on T lymphocytes, granulocytes, activated T cells or monocytes. Moreover, CD19 is present on principal acute and chronic B cell leukemias and lymphomas.

    Studies of clonality of B cell leukemias in human lysed whole peripheral blood or mononuclear cells separated by density gradient. Studies of clonality of B cell lymphomas in tissue. Kappa (FITC) / CD19 (PE) immunofluorescence analysis can be performed on a flow cytometer equipped with an excitation source of 488nm and fitted with logarithmic amplifiers. 10µl ofKappa (FITC) / CD19 (PE) is sufficient for labelling 1x10<6 cells.

    CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and has two Ig like domains. The CD19 molecule is expressed on 100% of the peripheral B cells as defined by expression of kappa or lamda light chains. It is expressed on approximately 10% of normal human peripheral blood cells and approximately 60% of splenic lymphocytes. It is not expressed on granulocytes, monocytes or T cells as defined by CD3 expression. Kappa is an antigen present in the serum of all immunoglobulins bearing kappa light chains. It is also present on 50-70% of normal human B-cells. cd19 antigen is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and has two Ig like domains. It is a critical signal transduction molecule that regulates B lymphocyte development, activation and differentiation. It is expressed on the majority of B-cell lineage malignancies, including most acute lymphoblastic leukaemias.
