The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
ELISA titre using peptide based assay was 1:62500.
Use a concentration of 0.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 58 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 56 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
RelevanceKCNG1 is a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily G. Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume.
This gene is abundantly expressed in skeletal muscle. Alternative splicing results in at least two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
