Synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH derived from within residues 1 - 100 of Fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) LAMP1.
(Peptide available as ab32341.)
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab30687 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|ICC/IF||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 120 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 120-140 kDa).
Detects a band of approximately 120 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 35 kDa for the core protein but an expected size of 120-140 kDa due to glycosylation).
ab30687 staining LAMP1 in fruit fly (Drosophilia melanogaster) S2 cells by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.25% Triton X-100 in PBS for 10 minutes and blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at 25°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/500 in blocking buffer) for 16 hours at 4°C. A Cy3®-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/400) was used as the secondary antibody.
This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 2% Bovine Serum Albumin before being incubated with ab30687 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was detected using an anti-rabbit antibody conjugated to HRP, and visualised using ECL development solution ab133406.
