Application Abreviews Notes
WB 1/1000 - 1/10000. Detects a band of approximately 120 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 92 kDa).
IP 1/10 - 1/100.
IHC-P 1/250 - 1/500. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
  • Application notesIs unsuitable for Flow Cyt or ICC.
  • Target

    • FunctionCadherins are calcium dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. LI-cadherin may have a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine. Involved in intestinal peptide transport.
    • Tissue specificityExpressed in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic duct. Not detected in kidney, lung, liver, brain, adrenal gland and skin.
    • Sequence similaritiesContains 7 cadherin domains.
    • Cellular localizationCell membrane.
