The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/1000 - 1/10000. Detects a band of approximately 120 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 92 kDa).
1/10 - 1/100.
1/250 - 1/500. Antigen retrieval is recommended.
Application notesIs unsuitable for Flow Cyt or ICC.
FunctionCadherins are calcium dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. LI-cadherin may have a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine. Involved in intestinal peptide transport.
Tissue specificityExpressed in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic duct. Not detected in kidney, lung, liver, brain, adrenal gland and skin.
