The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesWB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 65 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 70 kDa). Staining of the MBD4 band in immunoblotting is specifically inhibited by the immunizing peptide.
Not tested in other applications.

FunctionMismatch-specific DNA N-glycosylase involved in DNA repair. Has thymine glycosylase activity and is specific for G:T mismatches within methylated and unmethylated CpG sites. Can also remove uracil or 5-fluorouracil in G:U mismatches. Has no lyase activity. Was first identified as methyl-CpG-binding protein.
