Mouse monoclonal [36-7-5] to MHC Class I H2 Kk (FITC)
ConjugationFITC. Ex: 493nm, Em: 528nm
Specificityab25030 reacts with the H-2Kk MHC class I alloantigen. The antibody does not react with other (e.g., b, d, q) haplotypes. Cross-reactivity with splenocytes of SJL/Hsd mice has been observed by flow cytometric analysis.

RelevanceMHC Class I molecules play a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. MHC class I antigens are heterodimers consisting of one alpha chain (44kDa) with beta2- microglobulin (11.5 kDa). The antigen is expressed by all somatic cells at varying levels. Lymphocytes are highly positive whereas fibroblasts or neurons show only a low level of antigen.
