The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

  • Applications

    Mass Spectrometry

    SDS-PAGE

  • Purity> 95 % SDS-PAGE.
The tetramers have been prepared from pure histone octamers that have been crystallized and the structure published to 1.90 Amstrongs resolution. The requirement for high yields of ultra pure proteins for X-ray crystallography studies and mass-spectrometry studies has stimulated a development programme to purify proteins from the nuclei of chicken erythrocytes under very gentle conditions. Thus native Histone tetramers (H3-H4)2 can be produced without denaturation, with all the naturally occurring post-translational modifications.
  • FormLiquid
  • Additional notesThe Histone tetramers (H3-H4)2 should be thawed very slowly in a cold room to avoid precipitation of KCl / phosphate. For stability protein should be kept below 0° for storage and at 4° for usage.
