The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesPeptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 35 kDa (predicted molecular weight isoform 2: 35 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionThis is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance P. It is probably associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: substance P > substance K > neuromedin-K.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
