Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab65804 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
ICC/IF Use at an assay dependent concentration. PubMed: 23236374
WB Use a concentration of 0.1 - 0.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 27 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 29 kDa).Can be blocked with Neurotrophin 3 peptide (ab182403).
IHC-P Use a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml.

Boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0, for 20mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections.

Target

Anti-Neurotrophin 3 antibody images

  • ABC immunocytochemistry of rat dorsal root ganglion neurons with ab65804. The DRG neurons were post-fixed with Zamboni's fixative for 20 minutes.

  • ab65804 at 0.5µg/ml staining Neurotrophin 3 in rat brain tissue sections.
  • All lanes : Anti-Neurotrophin 3 antibody (ab65804) at 2 µg/ml

Lane 1 : Rat brain tissue lysate
Lane 2 : Rat brain tissue lysate
    Lane 3 : MCF7 whole cell lysate
Lane 4 : HeLa whole cell lysate

Predicted band size : 29 kDa
Observed band size : 27 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)

  • Developed using the ECL technique

    Performed under reducing conditions.

Predicted band size : 29 kDa

ab9792 = Active human Neurotrophin 3 protein fragment
