The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesWB: Use at a concentration of 1-5 µg/ml.
This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevancePCLKC (Protocadherin LKC) belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subgroup of the cadherin superfamily. It is predominantly expressed in liver, kidney and colon tissues, and has a role in contact inhibition at the lateral surface of epithelial cells. It is a candidate tumor suppressor.
Cellular localizationApical cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Cell junction. Note=Present at the cell junctions and the apical surface of cells. Colocalizes with actin at the microvilli-like structures which protrude from the apical surface.
