ICC/IF: Use at a concentration of 1 µg/ml.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 35 kDa corresponding to PHAPIII(predicted molecular weight: 29 kDa). A band below 35kDa is also observed, consisting of a doublet of PHAPI and PHAP12a.

This antibody recognizes all three identified isoforms of human, mouse and rat PHAP, including PHAP I, PHAP I2a, and PHAP III. The PHAP proteins(tumor suppressor putative HLA-DR associated proteins) are important regulators of mitochondrial apoptosis. PHAP facilitates apoptosome-mediated caspase-9 activation to stimulate the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway. In addition, PHAP opposes both Ras- and myc- mediated cell transformation.
