The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 32 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 32 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.

Highly expressed in a subset of melanomas. Detected at very low levels in most tissues (at protein level). Expressed in all tissues, with highest level of expression in heart and liver.

Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Predominantly localized in dot-like subnuclear structures. Cytoplasmic localization of PIR seems to positively correlate with melanoma progression.
