The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 0.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 47,55 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 47 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Titre using peptide based assay: 1:12500.
FunctionTranscription factor that binds preferentially to the recognition sequence which consists of two distinct half-sites, ('GCAT') and ('TAAT'), separated by a nonconserved spacer region of 0, 2, or 3 nucleotides. Positively regulates the genes under the control of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and CRH II promoters.
Tissue specificityExpressed specifically in the neuroectodermal cell lineage.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the POU transcription factor family. Class-3 subfamily. Contains 1 homeobox DNA-binding domain. Contains 1 POU-specific domain.
