MACF1 (microtubule actin cross-linking factor 1) is a multidomain protein that can associate with microfilaments and microtubules. MACF1 is a F-actin-binding protein which may play a role in cross-linking actin to other cytoskeletal proteins and may also binds to microtubules. MACF1 may also play a role in the Wnt signaling pathway.
