    Beta 2 Defensin protein is expressed as the C-terminal portion of precursors and is released by proteolytic cleavage of a signal sequence (aa 1-23).

    The biological activity of this product is determined by its ability to chemoattract immature human dendritic cells using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.
