Stability and Storage

Constituents: 0.31% Glutathione, 0.79% Tris HCl
- Centrosomal protein 76kDa
- Centrosomal protein of 76 kDa
Centrosomal protein involved in regulation of centriole duplication. Required to limit centriole duplication to once per cell cycle by preventing centriole reduplication.
Belongs to the CEP76 family.
Expressed at low level in G1 and is induced in S and G2 phase, during which point centrioles have already commenced duplication (at protein level).
Cytoplasm > cytoskeleton > centrosome. Cytoplasm > cytoskeleton > centrosome > centriole. Does not localize along the ciliary axoneme.
