Specifications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab54141 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

  • Biological activity

FGF21, in the absence of β-Klotho, causes some thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors.

  • Applications

    Functional Studies

    SDS-PAGE

  • Purity> 90 % SDS-PAGE.
Greater than 90% by SDS-PAGE gel and HPLC analyses.
  • FormLyophilised
  • Additional notes

Reconstituted FGF-21 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20°C. We recommend to reconstitute it in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. For extended storage, further dilute the reconstituted protein in a buffer (example PBS) containing a carrier protein (example 0.1% BSA) and store in working aliquots at -20°C to -80°C.
