    PCYT1B belongs to the cytidylyltransferase family. It controls phosphatidylcholine synthesis. PCYT1B is highly expressed in testis, placenta, brain, ovary and fetus. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding three isoforms have been found for this gene.
