Preparation and Storage

    Shipped at 4°C. Store at 4°C (stable for up to 12 months). Store at -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein on reconstitution (0.1% HSA or BSA).

  • Reconstitution
    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product in deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing.

    Genetic variation in PDCD1 is associated with susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus type 2 (SLEB2) [MIM:605218]. Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic, inflammatory and often febrile multisystemic disorder of connective tissue. It affects principally the skin, joints, kidneys and serosal membranes. It is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system.

  • SDS-PAGE analysis of ab180060 in DTT-reduced (lane 1)  and non-reduced (lane 2) conditions. Gel stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. As a result of different glycosylation, DTT-reduced protein migrates as 55-66 kDa and non-reduced protein migrates as 110-140 kDa.
