Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

    Shipped at 4°C. Store at -20°C. Store under desiccating conditions.

    pH: 7.40
    Constituents: PBS, 0.88% Sodium chloride

  • Reconstitution
    Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile dH2O to a concentration of 0.1 -1mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.

    Neurotrophic protein; induces extensive neuronal differentiation in retinoblastoma cells. Potent inhibitor of angiogenesis. As it does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition characteristic of active serpins, it exhibits no serine protease inhibitory activity.
