ReconstitutionAdd 0.1M Acetate buffer pH4 to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5 mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. For conversion into higher pH value, we recommend intensive dilution by relevant buffer to a concentration of 10µg/mL. In higher concentrations the solubility of this antigen is limited.
Phosphatase orphan 1
FunctionPhosphatase that has a high activity toward phosphoethanolamine (PEA) and phosphocholine (PCho). Involved in the generation of inorganic phosphate for bone mineralization.
Tissue specificityExpressed at sites of mineralization in bone and cartilage. Highly expressed in osteoblast cell line SaOS-2 which produces a mineralized matrix, but not in MG-63 cell line, which do not mineralize.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the HAD-like hydrolase superfamily. PHOSPHO family.
