Target

  • RelevanceReovirus is an acronym for Respiratory Enteric Orphan Virus. The reovirus is a double stranded RNA virus and is non-pathogenic naturally occurring virus, and not usually associated with any particular illness. Almost 100 per cent of the population show signs of a previous reovirus infection, generally confined to the gastrointestinal or respiratory systems in the body. Scientific studies have demonstrated that the virus specifically targets cells with a highly activated Ras signaling pathway and hence is a potent cancer killer.
