  • Description
Mouse monoclonal [2C4] to RLA DQ (Biotin)
  • ConjugationBiotin
  • SpecificityThis antibody is specific to rabbit RLA DQ alpha chain (Mr ~35 kDa). The antibody reacts with RLA DQ transfected cells, but not with RLA DR transfected cells.
  • Tested applicationsSuitable for: Flow Cyt, IHC-Fr, IPmore details
  • Species reactivity
    Reacts with: Rabbit
  • Immunogen

Tissue/ cell preparation: Rabbit spleen cells.

  • General notes

In normal adult rabbits, this antibody reacts with 30-60% of peripheral blood leukocytes. The antibody has also been reported to stain: lymphocytes and macrophages in the spleen; lymphocytes in the thymic medulla and some cells in the cortex; Kupffer cells in the liver; and synovial lining cells (i.e., infiltrating macrophages) in inflamed synovium. DQ alpha transcripts have been detected in bone marrow and spleen and, to a lesser extent, in appendix, lymph nodes, and other organs.
