Please note that the immunogen sequence is present in NP_071419.2 (and in
AAK07746) but is no longer present in the latest reference sequence
(NP_071419.3 at 05/10/05). This latest version has not been subject to final review by NCBI. This antibody may be recognising one particular isoform.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. The antibody detection limit dilution is 1:64,000 in a peptide ELISA.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 1.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 48 kDa in Jurkat cell lysates (predicted molecular weight: 42 kDa). The observed size is consistent with observations with competing products.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionNegative regulator of B-cell activation. Down-regulates cell proliferation (in vitro). Promotes RAC1-dependent membrane ruffle formation and reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Regulates cell spreading and cell polarization. Stimulates HDAC1 activity. Regulates LYN activity by modulating its tyrosine phosphorylation.
Tissue specificityDetected in peripheral blood B-cells (at protein level). Detected in spleen, liver and peripheral blood.
