Its N-terminus is found towards the center of the synaptonemal complex while the C-terminus extends well into the lateral domain of the synaptonemal complex.

I can confirm that ab15090 is not likely to cross react with human as the immunogen shares only 83% homology with the human protein. Unfortunately ab15087 will work in human but does not appear to work in immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sect...
