SEL1L has a predicted molecular weight of 89 kDa; however it has a number of potential glycosylation sites which may affect the migration of the protein (SwissProt data). This migration has been observed in the literature (PMID:18502753).

    Exposure time : 4 minutes

    This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 2% Bovine Serum Albumin before being incubated with ab78298 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was detected using an anti-rabbit antibody conjugated to HRP, and visualised using ECL development solution ab133406.

  • ab78298 staining SEL1L in Human pancreatic tissue sections by IHC-P (Formaldehyde-fixed, Paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue samples were fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 5 minutes of peroxidase followed by 10 minutes of protein at 20°C; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation in target retrieval solution. The sample was incubated with primary antibody (1/2000 in antibody diluent) at 20°C for 45 minutes. An undiluted HRP-conjugated polyclonal to rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody.
