Inquiry: I would like to order two antibodies, but would first like to check what the antigen was conjugated to. If it is KLH, then I will not be able to use them. Can you tell me what the antigens for ab37093 (anti-tyramine) and ab8882 (anti-5HT) were conjugated to? Thank you kindly,

The immunogens for both of these antibodies were conjugated to glutaraldehyde and BSA, not KLH, so they should be appropriate for your studies.

I am interested to use the antibody to detect serotonin in an ELISA assay. Is there a protocol for this and what is the detection sensitivity ? Thank you

I have performed a search of our catalog and I would like to recommend ab8882. This is an anti-serotonin antibody that has been validated for ELISA.

There is no specific protocol that is recommended, however we do recommend a starting dilution of 1/2000 - 1/5000.
