The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 0.25 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 95 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 89 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.

Subunit of the splicing factor SF3A required for 'A' complex assembly formed by the stable binding of U2 snRNP to the branchpoint sequence (BPS) in pre-mRNA. Sequence independent binding of SF3A/SF3B complex upstream of the branch site is essential, it may anchor U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA. May also be involved in the assembly of the 'E' complex.
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of HeLa cells labelling SF3A1 with ab69903 at 1/250. Cells wew fixed with 4% PFA for 30 minutes and blocked with 5% goat serum + 1% BSA + 0.02% fish gelatin overnight at 4°C. Cells were incubated with the primary antibody overnight at 4°C. An Alexa Fluor 546-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG (1/500, room temperature, 2 hours) was used as the secondary antibody.
