The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 87 kDa.
This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceSLC26A9 is one member of a family of sulfate/anion transporter genes.
It is a DIDS- and thiosulfate-sensitive anion exchanger mediating chloride, sulfate and oxalate transport. It mediates chloride/bicarbonate exchange or chloride-independent bicarbonate extrusion thus assuring bicarbonate secretion and is inhibited by ammonium and thiosulfate.
It is predominantly expressed in lung at the luminal side of the bronchiolar and alveolar epithelium of lung and to a lower extent is also expressed in pancreas and prostate.
