The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 65 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 65 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
ELISA titre using peptide based assay: 1/12500.
RelevanceST4S6 is a membrane-integrated glycoprotein that is expressed as a disulfide-linked dimer in B cells. It may act as a B-cell receptor involved in BCR ligation-mediated early activation, which mediates regulatory signals key to B-cell development and/or regulation of B-cell-specific RAG expression, however such results are unclear in vivo.
Cellular localizationGolgi apparatus membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Note= A small fraction may also be present at the cell surface, where it acts as a B-cell receptor.
