The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/500 - 1/1000. Detects a band of approximately 37 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 35 kDa).
FunctionProbable pseudophosphatase. Contains a Ser residue instead of a conserved Cys residue in the dsPTPase catalytic loop which probably renders it catalytically inactive as a phosphatase. The binding pocket may be however sufficiently preserved to bind phosphorylated substrates, and maybe protect them from phosphatases.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. Non-receptor class subfamily. Contains 1 rhodanese domain. Contains 1 tyrosine-protein phosphatase domain.
