The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notes Flow Cyt: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 0.2 - 0.4 µg/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
IP: Use 2µg/mg protein lysate. Use with Protein G.
Radioimaging: Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Is unsuitable for WB.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceThe majority of human adenocarcinomas including colorectal, pancreatic, gastric, ovarian, endometrial, mammary, and non-small cell lung cancer display some cell populations that are positive for TAG72. About 60% of carcinoma patients express TAG72 in their sera. TAG72 is reportedly useful in distinguishing pulmonary adenocarcinomas from pleural mesotheliomas.
