The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesIHC-P: 1/50 for 10 minutes at room temperature. Staining of formalin fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionBinds to TGF-beta. Could be involved in capturing and retaining TGF-beta for presentation to the signaling receptors.
Sequence similaritiesContains 1 ZP domain.
Post-translational modificationsExtensively modified by glycosaminoglycan groups (GAG).
Cellular localizationSecreted. Secreted > extracellular space. Cell membrane. Exists both as a membrane-bound form and as soluble form in serum and in the extracellular matrix.
