The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
WB: 1/500 - 1/1000. Predicted molecular weight for endogenous protein: 10 kDa.
Note: this antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceTIMM8B, Translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 8 homolog b, is a probable mitochondrial intermembrane chaperone that participates in the import and insertion of some multi-pass transmembrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane. It is also required for the transfer of beta-barrel precursors from the TOM complex to the sorting and assembly machinery (SAM complex) of the outer membrane. Acting as a chaperone-like protein it protects the hydrophobic precursors from aggregation and guide them through the mitochondrial intermembrane space.
