The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
sELISA: Use at a concentration of 10 µg/ml. Detection limit for recombinant tagged TSPAN2 is approximately 0.3ng/ml as a capture antibody.
WB: Use at a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 24 kDa.
This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceTSPAN2 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. TSPAN2 may play a role in signalling in oligodendrocytes in the early stages of their terminal differentiation into myelin-forming glia and may also function in stabilizing the mature sheath.
