The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 0.3 - 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 49 kDa. Approx 48kDa band observed in lysates of Human Kidney fibroblast cell line HEK293. A minor band was also consistently observed at appox 35kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide, and is consistent with the B chain of Cathepsin B-mediated cleavage product of PLAU (Kobayashi et al, J Biol Chem. 1991 Mar 15;266(8):5147-52; PMID: 1900515).
