    The immunogen for this antibody was a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal domain of human endobrevin/VAMP8.

    No cross-reactivity was found on rat PC12 and canine MDCK cell extracts. Cross reactivity in other species has not yet been tested. Specific reference: Lafont et al., PNAS 1999
