Application Abreviews Notes
IHC-P Use a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml. In paraffin embedded Human Uterus shows vesicular and membranous staining in the endometrial glands.
WB Use at an assay dependent dilution. Preliminary experiments gave an approx 60kDa band in Human Spleen lysates after 0.3µg/ml antibody staining (expected size : 20.9kDa). The 60kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size but we would welcome any feedback.


  • Function
    Essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA). Has low protein phosphatase activity towards a serine-phosphorylated peptide derived from IGF2R (in vitro).
