General notesThe lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20°C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8°C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20°C.
FormLyophilised:Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile PBS containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
Storage instructionsShipped at 4°C. Store at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Application notesELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 µg/ml. Use 100µl antibody solution per well. This amount allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant human Wnt3a.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 39 kDa. The detection limit is 1.5 – 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
FunctionLigand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube.
Tissue specificityModerately expressed in placenta and at low levels in adult lung, spleen, and prostate.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the Wnt family.
Cellular localizationSecreted > extracellular space > extracellular matrix.
