Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab54479 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
WB
ELISA
  • Application notesELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 µg/ml. Use 100µl antibody solution per well. This amount allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant human Wnt3a.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 39 kDa. The detection limit is 1.5 – 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • FunctionLigand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube.
    • Tissue specificityModerately expressed in placenta and at low levels in adult lung, spleen, and prostate.
    • Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the Wnt family.
    • Cellular localizationSecreted > extracellular space > extracellular matrix.
