Human Predicted to work with:
Recombinant fragment corresponding to N terminal amino acids 1-90 (MAEESRKPSA PSPPDQTPEE DLVIVKVEED HGWDQESSLH ESNPLGQEVF RLRFRQLRYQ ETLGPREALI QLRALCHQWL RPDLNTKEQI) of Human ZNF192 (NP_006289) with a proprietary tag.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 - 5 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 66 kDa. This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein in western blotting.
Use a concentration of 3 µg/ml. Antigen retrieval is not essential but may optimise staining. Place sample in 1X citrate buffer (pH 6.0) in pressure cooker under 125oC for 4min and under 90oC for 45min.
FunctionMay be involved in transcriptional regulation.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Contains 9 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Contains 1 KRAB domain. Contains 1 SCAN box domain.
Post-translational modificationsPhosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.
