The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 2.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 60 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 82 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
FunctionMay be involved in transcriptional regulation as a transcriptional repressor. The DEPDC1A-ZNF224 complex may play a critical role in bladder carcinogenesis by repressing the transcription of the A20 gene, leading to transport of NF-KB protein into the nucleus, resulting in suppression of apoptosis of bladder cancer cells.
Tissue specificityUbiquitous. Mainly expressed in fetal tissues.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Contains 18 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Contains 1 KRAB domain.
Cellular localizationNucleus. Colocalizes with DEPDC1A at the nucleus.
